We represented a property owner, who owned a multi-unit residential rental property, in claims of breach of fiduciary duty and professional malpractice against his accountant. The accountant, who was also acting as a property manager, mismanaged the property resulting in loss of rents and profits. In our settlement agreement, we held the accountant responsible for his wrongdoing.
